Locals reported substantial frozen pellets measuring up to seven centimeters in some areas. The Bureau of Meteorology confirmed that multiple regions across Queensland had been impacted by substantial ice precipitation.

Tuesday was predicted as the wettest day, with ongoing thunderstorm potential predicted across different parts of both states.
